Congratulations to Siriol on winning the all Wales Regional Final of the prestigious UK Future Chef competition organised by Springboard UK. Siriol beat off stiff competition from five other finalists at Coleg y Cymmoedd in Nantgarw on 11 February. Siriol is a student at Ysgol Bro Denefwr, Llandeilo currently studying food technology and has been assisted with the competition by Food Technology teacher Doreen Martin and mentored by Head Chef Chris Lovell from The Plough restaurant, Rhosmaen. Her task at the competition was to prepare a two course meal for two with a budget of £10. 

Siriol now goes on to compete in the UK final at the famous Westminster College, London in March this year where she will be up against 11 other regional winners.
