We had our wedding at The Plough, Rhosmaen on Saturday 9th April 2016 and we could not have asked for better! The Plough ticked all our boxes when we were looking for a venue; good reviews for food (we sampled every time we had a meeting and the reviews are right! the food is amazing), lovely friendly staff and plenty of room for family and friends to stay. 

Throughout the planning of the wedding, Andrew was amazing and his attention to detail was fantastic. Andrew is extremely hard working, along with all his staff who are all very kind and friendly.

On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly thanks to Andrew and lovely Greg. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it for our farmer guests who love hearty meals! All our guests expressed how beautiful the venue is, how amazing the food is and how stunning the hotel rooms are. Not only this, but the view from the venue over the Towy valley was superb. The day flowed well and without a hitch thanks to the staff. They transformed the rooms from ceremony to reception to evening party and it looked fantastic every time.

The food was absolutely superb. Our guests certainly did not go hungry. The reception meal (wedding breakfast) was amazing, served with elegance and discretion and was piping hot. The day guests, who were still full in the evening, ate the evening meal as the food was so nice they did not want to miss out.

Some people maybe hesitant to have their wedding at The Plough as it is on a main road, but we did not hear any noise or traffic during the ceremony or reception and definitely not in the evening with the disco in full swing!

It is easy to see why The Plough are multi award winning; from the staff to the food to the hotel, everything was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble and they ensured everything went to plan. We can’t thank Andrew, Greg and the rest of the team enough for their help, support and kindness to make our day perfect.

From myself and Rhodri we would firstly like to thank all the staff at the plough for a wonderful wedding we had last Saturday it was absolutely brilliant despite the weather. Everything to the last detail was superb. Couldn't find a fault with anything from booking the venue 2 yrs ago up until the big day. Andrew and Fred were very efficient in everything and offered us options to suit our party. The food was delicious and all guests thoroughly enjoyed. It was a fantastic day and all our guests are still talking about how wonderful this venue is as most had never been before. Massive Thankyou once again to all your staff and for all your hard work made our day certainly one to remember xx

To all at the The Plough Hotel & Restaurant*.... Firstly... We could not have wished to be in a more stunning setting for our wedding day (Sat 14th May 2016). The Towy Vally really is just Stunning! A huge thank you to The Plough, Llandeilo. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart to Andrew (the main man!), Fred (the right hand man!), Greg and Adrian (Front of house), Sara and Stevie in reception to name a few for all your help, professionalism, patients and understanding! But also thank you to all the Chefs, Kitchen Staff, Waitresses, Waiters, Bar Staff, Housekeeping Staff, Grounds Staff, Night Porters and all at the Plough who work tirelessly to keep this wonderful hotel and venue running to the standard we see it is as today. It really is a testament to Andrew and all his staff who have brought The Plough back from rack and ruin many years ago to the quite simply 'Top Class' Hotel it stands for today. Words can't thank you enough. Simply Outstanding!!! Hats off to you all!! Xx
